			<description><![CDATA[Construction is due for completion in March 2009 on the conversion of Ecclesbourne School, Islington, London.  The school is being converted into residential use comprising 63no units.  Planning consent was obtained April 2005 and construction commenced October 2007 and is due to be completed March 2009.  The former school site provides accommodation for developer-client Durkan Estates.  It will be completed at a cost of approximately £6million.

The accommodation comprises 960m2 of commercial use, and  122 residential units.  The former brownfield site is located in Hackney Wick, bordering the 2012 Olympic site. It is being developed for Family Mosaic into a mix of affordable and private tenures, by Mount Anvil for approximately £17.5M.  The scheme gained planning approval at appeal August 2006 and started on site November 2006. It is due for completion January 2009.
